Burnham Beeches

We had a lovely walk around Burnham Beeches today - even though the smallest of inclines had me huffing and puffing and clutching the bump! Really have to start doing any some more exercise.

There is a whole lake full of lily pads, I felt like I could have run all the way across over them!

We got to see two gorgeous little ducklings.

I can't wait to take our little one to explore all the lovely countryside near us - can anyone recommend some nature books to help us learn what trees/birds etc we're looking at?
